Greetings,

On behalf of SANGRAM, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all of you on the occasion of the publication of our Annual Report 2025.

The seed of SANGRAM that was planted in a small area in 1985 have now blossomed and spread throughout Barisal Division. This 41-year journey has not been smooth, but rather a unique history of moving forward through social and economic adversities. Our guide on this long journey has been those people of Barisal Division, whose struggle is our strength, whose development is our goal. Our commitment to bringing about sustainable and timely changes in the socio-economic conditions of the backward, marginalized and disadvantaged people remains unwavering in 2025. We believe that real development is possible only when a person gets the opportunity to live with dignity with his basic rights, education, health and economic liberty. This year, we have been able to further expand the scope of our activities. In particular, we have placed special emphasis to the production of non-toxic dry fish, skill development of adolescence, creation of small and medium entrepreneurs, women empowerment, disability and digital expansion of livelihoods of beneficiaries.

Behind this success unwavering cooperation and trust of donors, dedicated staff, esteemed members of the General Assembly and Executive Council, development partners, local administration and above all our target population are appreciated. With the contribution  of all SANGRAM became is a reliable institution in the development arena of Barisal today.

We have to move forward by confronting the effects of climate change, economic instability and technological inequality. We want to bring our next generation, especially the youth, to the center of this struggle. By utilizing their creativity, energy and innovative thinking, we will move towards building a more prosperous, equal and self-reliant country.

I firmly believe that with united efforts and the right guidance, we will be able to reach our desired goal proceeding our joint struggle.
